Meet Jonathan

Jonathan, aka @theketocolombian has been keto since April of 2018. He decided to start keto after getting some family pictures taken on Easter. After seeing and feeling the results of being on a low carb diet, Jonathan never looked back! Get to know Jonathan as he shares some of his favorite keto recipes, what he does to stay active, advice for new keto dieters, and more!

Q1How did you feel when you first started keto?

I felt scared and excited!

Q2Were there any times that you wanted to quit? What did you do to stay motivated when it got hard?

Honestly, no. After seeing and feeling results, quitting was never an option or a thought!

Q3What advice would you give to someone who is just starting keto?

Don't over complicate things! Use google and find an easy starting free plan, download a grocery list and CLEAN OUT YOUR FRIDGE and CABINETS of all sugary and carbs junk food! This is a must!

Q4What is your favorite way to stay active?

I workout twice per day! 45 min-1 hour walk or run outside or a mix of both and another 45 min home workout with bands and weights!

Q5What are your go-to keto recipes?

Dessert is now a Keto bar and Cream Cheese.. SO GOOD! I try to keep it simple in the kitchen because I don't have the most patience! During the weekdays I am a steak and eggs kind of guy. Weekends I spice it up with my favorite local BBQ joint one of the days then the other I make something fun, like a meatza!

Q7What book have you read that's had a positive impact on your life?

I just finished "The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*CK" It is a really good book and to the point.
