NEW Chocolate Peanut Butter Keto Bars!

Hey Keto Fam!

Welcome to the new year! We are so pumped for 2018. We have big plans and we can't wait to share them with you as they come. In fact, we already announced something BIG! Our brand new Chocolate Peanut Butter recipe!

As you know, we launched the original recipe in September. We were SO excited because we believed we came up with a great bar. And we did! But, we didn't anticipate one major thing...

 

 

The natural peanut butter that we made only held their flavor for a short amount of time. So by the time we baked the bars and they got to your door step, they weren't the same. The peanut butter flavor had faded. This is what happens when you use natural ingredients without additives. Live and learn, right?

Once we figured this out we immediately took action. It took us several recipes (and by several, I mean dozens) but we finally found one that tasted great and still had the macros keto dieters were looking for. Our new bar has a STRONG peanut butter flavor. We achieved this by adding more peanuts in the form of butter, powder and oil. The butter, oil and powder are ONLY made of peanuts - nothing else. They are just in different forms. When they are in these forms - the flavor is strong and lasts long! The new bars have 3g net carbs, 21g fat, 8g of protein and NO added sugar.

    I like the chocolate coconut bars, but the Peanut butter bars have too much of a Stevia aftertaste. I also don’t think you should add coconut in them. It’s odd and those who don’t like coconut (like my wife) are kinda left with no options. Seems to me the PB bars are still a work in progress…

    Any chance you can take a stab at using almond instead of peanut???
